Development & Implementation Of An Overall Quality Program – The Journey To Excellence
The aggressive nature of the construction boom in Colorado has forced all contractors to do more with less (install more work with less skilled labor). To remain competitive, companies must adopt a new approach to quality, safety, and production.  Brendan Bartolo, Director of Quality assurance at Dynalectric Colorado was forced to analyze the processes and make changes to optimize performance.  A key element of this optimization was Quality.  Implementing a strategic approach, Dynalectric developed a robust QA and QC program and rolled it out the field in 2018.  This presentation will cover the process, challenges, and successes observed during the plan’s development and implementation.
Brendan Bartolo has worked in the commercial construction market for over 18 years on a variety of project types and served as a Quality Control Manager and Project Manager for nationwide general contractors.  He is currently the Director of Quality Assurance at Dynalectric Colorado, a specialty electrical contractor in Denver.  Here he is responsible for executing Dynalectric’s overall Quality Program and applying lean quality principals to mission critical facilities, power generation, manufacturing, transportation, and infrastructure projects.  Brendan is also the LEAN Construction Chairman for Dynalectric Colorado and the Co-Program Chair for ASQ Section 1300 (Denver).
This event will be held at Interstate Kitchen on Santa Fe in Denver.  See the EVENTS page for more information.
