Development & Implementation Of An Overall Quality Program – The Journey To Excellence
The aggressive nature of the construction boom in Colorado has forced all contractors to do more with less (install more work with less skilled labor). To remain competitive, companies must adopt a new approach to quality, safety, and production. This presentation will cover the process, challenges, and successes observed during the plan’s development and implementation. Event will be held at Interstate Kitchen on Santa Fe in Denver. Join us for our monthly membership meeting to learn about 5S Implementation in a pharmacy hospital. This pharmacy department in a hospital was struggling with several quality and performance issues. Since pharmacy is central to all other medical departments in a hospital there is no error margin. We will learn about the process how they implemented 5S and resistance they faced. Participants will learn pitfalls to avoid while implementing 5S in their organizations.
Join us for a full day class at Red Rocks Community College on Saturday, September 29th to learn about using Excel to explore data, computing descriptive statistics, and data analysis for particular types of studies including comparison of means and exploring linear relationships among variables. Functions and pivot tables will be used to compute descriptive statistics like means, standard deviations, frequencies, and proportions. The data analysis tool pak will be used for exploring statistical methods. Bring your computer and data (optional) for a great day of learning.
